Last Saturday as we all celebrated our Freedom and Independence, this couple decided to join their lives together as one; it's pretty poetic if you ask me! It was a beautiful ceremony and the Groom waiting for and watching his Bride to come down the aisle was one of the most touching moments at any of the weddings I have done. The ceremony was beautiful and full of God's love, friends, and family. The wedding ceremony took place at a church in Overland Park, Kansas, with the reception following at the 7th Street Event Center in Kansas City. Prior to the wedding the couple shared a prayer together without seeing one another. The wedding incorporated the classic colors of black and red, and a friend of the couple provided the piano and vocals and did an amazing job.
The Bride recently graduated college with a degree involving the theatrical arts so we visited the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts as well as the World War I memorial after the ceremony for some photos with the wedding party and the Bride & Groom. From there we went straight to the reception for food, fun, and dancing. It was a wonderful day by all who attended, including myself, and we are so happy for their love for one another as they begin their journey as husband & wife. May God Bless them and their marriage always.
